Sesame Workshop regained control of its Elmo account on the X platform Monday after a hacker gained access and posted a string of racist and antisemitic messages.

“Over time when I ask him if he wants to come meet with us, you know, I have young children so it’s harder for me to travel to him, he would either say he’s tired or, ‘I’ll call you later,’” he said.
