The National Weather Service confirmed June 10 that seven tornadoes touched down in Sequoyah County and Van Buren on June 6.

The Van Buren Housing Authority says more than two dozen units cannot be lived in because of what happened on Friday morning. Those families will have to live elsewhere for the foreseeable future.
