Cincinnati has a thin defensive end room to practice with in the meantime. Myles Murphy, Joseph Ossai and Cam Sample are leading the room to start training camp. Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Shemar Stewart is finally joining the team after becoming the last first-round pick to sign his rookie deal. The former Texas A&M standout and the Bengals agreed to terms on a four-year, fully guaranteed contract worth $18.97 million.
If there’s one player who understands the importance of training camp practice in Cincinnati, it’s Amarius Mims. The Bengals selected Mims with the No.18 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft out of Georgia. Mims went on to start 13 games for the Bengals last season.
