Pentagon ends deployment of National Guard in LA
(TNND) — The Pentagon said Tuesday it is ending the deployment of 2,000 National Guard troops in Los Angeles. National Guard troops make up nearly half of the soldiers sent to the city to crack down on immigration protests. The purpose of the guard was to assist in protecting property while immigration enforcement made arrests.
