SLC Summer League head coach (Jazz assistant coach) Scott Morrison said that two-way player Elijah Harkless was the Jazz’s best player in summer league training camp. What Harkless needs to do when the lights are on is realize that his defense and tenacity is what makes him great and he doesn’t need to force scoring in order to prove his mettle.

On one of the deepest Summer League teams, Kyle Filipowski was the best player on the floor. He had a 12-point double-double at the break. He was a rebound machine and cleaned up several Jazz misses. The Thunder's lack of size was exposed.

With Brice Sensabaugh and Ace Bailey sitting out, it was Walt Clayton Junior’s turn to take on the offensive load. Clayton poured in 20 points in Utah’s 86-82 victory over Oklahoma City Wednesday night at the Huntsman Center.
