Oasis have finally returned to their hometown to perform together for the first time since 2009 as Liam and Noel Gallagher walked out hand in hand once again for their reunion shows

As the sun set over Heaton Park last night, the darkness enveloping the stage, and the final chords of Champagne Supernova rang out across the Papal Field, the night sky suddenly became alive as a stunning firework display closed out night one of Oasis in Manchester.

Oasis fans are all saying the same thing after Liam and Noel Gallagher took to the stage of the first of five Heaton Park gigs. Taking the stage at 8:15pm as expected, the brothers were met with thunderous applause and cheers in their home city.
