Five of the eight people who died after their boat flipped Saturday in Lake Tahoe were from Northern California, and three were from upstate New York, according to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.

June 25, 2025 – El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the Coroner’s Division has positively identified the victims from the tragic boating incident on Lake Tahoe on June 21st, 2025. The victims of this incident are: Paula Bozinovich, 71 years old, from Redwood City, CA;
