Two Texas malls have been recognized by USA TODAY's 10BEST annual rankings. Mall of America did not claim the top spot this year.

North Texans won't need to travel far if they want to shop at some of the best malls in the U.S., a new poll reveals.

Grapevine Mills, in Grapevine, was also ranked in USA TODAY’s list of the Best Malls of 2025, at No. 8. Grapevine Mills was chosen for its after-hours entertainment, the popular brands it offers for shopping and its large variety of attractions, like Meow Wolf.

Beginning June 16, Beat the Heat cooling centers are open for residents to escape the heat. Residents can also apply for portable AC units starting June 18. The cooling centers will provide a safe and comfortable place to stay cool and reduce the need for home electricity use during the hottest days of summer, according to the city.

According to the National Weather Service, Dallas is under a flood watch. Surrounding areas could see one to four inches of heavy rain.
