Israel has struck military tanks in southern Syria, where government forces and Bedouin tribes clash with Druze militias.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that it conducted strikes against Syrian military tanks in the southern region of Syria on Monday.

Israel carried out strikes against Syrian government forces in southern Syria, saying it was acting to protect the Druze minority.

According to the monitor, armed organisations linked with the government executed four Druze civilians at another guest home in Sweida province, as well as three siblings north of Sweida city in front of their mother.

Israel launched an airstrike on Syrian tanks approaching the Druze-dominated Sweida region, releasing chilling footage of the attack. The IDF says the strike was a defensive measure to protect the Druze minority and deter threats near Israel's border.
