WWE heads overseas this weekend, as Friday Night SmackDown will take place in Saudi Arabia. Back in 2018, WWE announced a 10-year deal with the Ministry of Sport, bringing wrestling to Saudi Arabia with numerous PPV events. SmackDown will go on as usual, but the Night of Champions on Saturday is the main event for this weekend.

Matt Cardona thanks Saudi fans for chanting his name on WWE Night of Champions post show. Cardona’s name was heard on WWE TV for the second time in the past few weeks. The first time happened earlier this month when John Cena mentioned him during his pipe-bomb-style promo WWE SmackDown.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that the playback tonight across the United States should air as normal at 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. CT). There were three major title matches on the show as Tiffany Stratton, Zelina Vega and the Street Profits all put their gold on the line. Here are your SmackDown SPOILERS, which are limited in scope.
