WOLF RIVER − A 14-year-old Chicago-area boy is dead after drowning in Sawyer Lake in the Langlade County town of Wolf River.

The girl fell off the back of a boat on Lake Alexander shortly before 3:30 p.m. July 27 and was pulled from the water shortly after 7 p.m.
