England starlet Harvey Elliott was deservedly crowned the Player of the Tournament at this summer’s UEFA Under-21 European Championships, becoming the first player to ever win the coveted award while representing Liverpool.

Elliott opened the scoring in style in the fifth minute when picking up a loose ball on the edge of the Germany penalty area and firing a smart finish into the bottom corner. The ex- Fulham star also played a key role in the Three Lions’ second with an excellent pass, and his performance was another which caught the eye.
