Established in 1960, the Crooked River National Grassland covers over 100,000 acres in Central Oregon and has long been a vital part of the region's ecosystem and cultural landscape.

The area is home to about 10 miles of trails along the Deschutes River Canyon and the Crooked River Gorge, managed by the Bureau of Land Management and the Crooked River National Grassland.
