Following the launch of its 1.07.0 update, Grow a Garden had nearly eight million active players, which is more than the top 100 Steam games combined.

A new Roblox game heavily inspired by Peak, the hot new social game on Steam, has ruffled the feathers of both developers and players alike.

On Saturday, more than 16 million people were planting seeds and collecting exotic pets within Grow a Garden at the same time. Many were not yet teenagers.

"tbh would rather you pirate our game than play this microtransaction-riddled @Roblox slop ripoff," the post reads, alongside screenshots of the game's lobby and store page.
