During requirement capturing, several function-viewed notations are used, including context diagram of the structured analysis (SA) technique, and use case diagrams and activity diagrams of the UML.

I now address the next question: how to refine use-case diagrams with interfaces and data flows (mapping to data sources) and how to hyperlink the UML artifacts to provide traceability.
