Starting soon, anyone who installs Unity, Epic’s Unreal Engine, or Chukong’s Cocos2D will see a highlighted option to co-install Microsoft’s Visual Studio Community for Windows.
Developers can now co-install Visual Studio Community on Windows alongside Unreal Engine, Unity and Cocos2d, as well as the plug-ins required for Windows dev building games with these tools.
Microsoft has revealed that thanks to a partnership with Epic Games, it has made the readiness of IntelliSense and semantic code colorization in Unreal Engine projects faster by an order of 18x.
