The current $2.90 for city subways and buses would cost another 10 cents – after the MTA last jacked up the price in the middle of 2023. Meanwhile, Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North riders would face a 4.4% increase for one-way, weekly and monthly tickets if the MTA board approves the new rates later this year.
