Actor Joe Marinelli, who starred in the 1980s soap opera “Santa Barbara,” has died. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Marinelli’s wife Jean confirmed the actor died following a battle with stomach cancer.

The former carpenter, who discovered that "pants are a lot more comfortable than nylons," also recurred as the director Donny Spagnoli on ‘The Morning Show.'

Television and film actor Joe Marinelli, who appeared in “The Morning Show” and “Santa Barbara,” to name a few titles, has died. He was 68.
