With Ford-Wheaton out for the season, the Giants needed to add a replacement to their 90-man roster and will do so by re-signing wide receiver and return specialist Gunner Olszewski, who spent last season on injured reserve (IR) with a groin issue.

The Giants are re-signing WR/KR Gunner Olszewski, per source. Good returner was with the Giants each of the past two seasons. Move comes on the heels of losing receiver and special teamer Bryce Ford-Wheaton for the season with an Achilles tear.

Per Jordan Raanan of ESPN, New York is signing receiver/returner Gunner Olszewski. Olszewski, 28, has spent time with the Giants in each of the last two seasons, though he did not appear in a game last year. In 2023, he averaged 11.9 yards on 23 punt returns, returning one for a touchdown.
