Deshaun Watson was placed on the physically unable to perform list by the Cleveland Browns as veterans reported to training camp on Tuesday. Watson could potentially miss the entire 2025 season while recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon suffered in January.

Browns veterans reported for training camp July 22, the same day they placed Deshaun Watson, among others, on the active/PUP list due to injuries.

The rehab process for Watson bears watching for dramatic reasons, if nothing else. This offseason, Cleveland owner Jimmy Haslam admitted it was an error to trade for Watson and his off-field baggage and then give him the most guaranteed money ever given to an NFL player.
