Google has offered up Gemini AI to set up automations for you. While Gemini was helpful in using the script editor, it was far from painless, and you likely won't need the script editor much.

The new Google Home Script Editor is, just a day after its reveal, already available to all users in a public preview.

For now, you can access the script editor through the public preview build of the Google Home app or the web. You can find some sample scripted automations over at Google's developer center.
