The Hockey Hall of Fame got a lot bigger Tuesday, as former Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara was elected in his first season of eligibility.

Former Boston Bruins captain and defenseman Zdeno Chara has been elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2025 in the Player Category. The 2025 Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Celebration is scheduled on Monday, November 10 in Toronto.

Former Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara and legendary San Jose Sharks forward Joe Thornton were among the NHL players that were elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame on Tuesday. Duncan Keith and Alexander Mogilny were also elected as part of the 2025 class.
