A Russian drone and missile attack on Ukraine’s capital has killed at least six people, including a six-year-old boy, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other officials.

The altitude and speed at which the drones fly makes them far more difficult to shoot down, requiring increasingly scarce higher-performance SAMs.

Russia fired 309 Shahed and decoy drones, and eight Iskander-K cruise missiles overnight, the Ukrainian air force said.
