Two players with Michigan ties went in the first round of Wednesday night’s 2025 NBA Draft. Michigan State University freshman Jase Richardson and the University of Michigan’s Danny Wolf were taken two picks apart from each other near the end of the first round.

The 19-year-old guard who spent only one season at Michigan State was selected by the Orlando Magic with the 25th pick during the first round of the 2025 draft on Wednesday night in Brooklyn.
