Arthur Folasa Ah Loo, 39, has died as the result of a gunshot wound he sustained Saturday in a shooting during a protest against President Donald Trump in Salt Lake City.
Utah resident Arthur Folasa Ah Loo, 39, was shot and critically wounded during the protest in Salt Lake City on Saturday, June 14. He later died in the hospital from his injuries, the Salt Lake City Police Department confirmed in a news release.
Anti-Trump activists, including civil-rights groups and labor unions, organized the nationwide protest under the banner of “No Kings,” denouncing what they say are Trump’s authoritarian tendencies — and the parade being held on his 79th birthday.
Millions of people turned out for "No Kings" protests nationwide on Saturday that were largely peaceful though there were some arrests and police had to disperse unruly crowds, including in Georgia and Los Angeles.
