New York State Police said the father of a 9-year-old girl who was initially the subject of an Amber Alert and was later found dead has been charged with her murder.

A 9-year-old girl is in 'imminent danger' after being abducted from Lake George, according to police. Melina Galanis Frattolin last seen in a white van on a local highway.

New York State Police are searching for 9-year-old Melina Galanis Frattolin, who they say was last seen near Lake George when an unknown suspect took her.
