The Golden State Warriors have selected Will Richard with the No. 56 pick in the 2025 NBA draft. The Warriors traded up from No. 59 to select the Florida Gator wing.

With the No. 52 pick, the Warriors selected forward Alex Toohey out of Australia. Toohey is a 21-year-old forward who averaged 10.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game for the Sydney Kings in the National Basketball League. He is 6-foot-8 and 223 pounds, and made 26 of 86 3-point field goals.

The Warriors entered the NBA draft on Wednesday, June 25, without a first-round pick. However, general manager Mike Dunleavy told Tim Kawakami of The San Francisco Standard on Friday the team identified a first-round prospect it believed could contribute to winning in his rookie year.
