The Shane Bieber era in Cleveland has reportedly come to a close. According to MLB Network's Jon Morosi, the Guardians agreed to trade the ace starting pitcher to the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday in exchange for 22-year-old pitching prospect Khal Stephen.

Bieber, who has two All-Star appearances and won the American League Cy Young Award in 2020, is currently making a comeback from Tommy John surgery.

The Toronto Blue Jays are adding a former Cy Young winner to their rotation. Toronto has acquired right-hander Shane Bieber from the Cleveland Guardians for righty pitching prospect Khal Stephen, the team announced on Thursday.
