Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is bringing with him to the the White House an extraordinary cadre of European leaders to show U.S. President Donald Trump a united front against Russia.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in London. LONDON (AP) — British Prime Minister Keir Starmer welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to London on Thursday, a day before a critical U.S.-Russia summit in Alaska.

Sir Keir Starmer and five other European leaders will accompany Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Washington, in a major show of unity ahead of peace talks with Donald Trump. The Ukrainian war leader will land in the US as he returns to the White House after President Trump’s meeting with Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

Mr Zelensky says he will once again push for a trilateral meeting between himself, Trump and Putin after he was excluded from the Alaska summit. The White House has released the official timetable for the day ahead. European leaders will arrive there at about 5pm BST (12pm EST).
