Protests broke out Saturday across Los Angeles following dozens of arrests the day prior in citywide Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations.

After a day of contention and little information about the nature of an immigration enforcement operation in Los Angeles, the Department of Homeland Security has finally released details about the joint operation conducted Friday morning.

Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents used riot gear as they clashed with protestors during a series of raids in Los Angeles where they ended up detaining more than 40 people.
