Rams reequipped with the HEMI engines will be available for sale this summer, the company said, in eight different Ram 1500 models.

Stellantis is resurrecting its popular V-8 Hemi engine for its Ram 1500 full-size pickup trucks beginning this summer.

The V-8's resurrection comes as President Donald Trump's administration and a GOP-controlled Congress have moved toward cutting back stringent emissions and fuel economy standards, including those set by California. The reversal also comes as Ram has continually delayed launching its planned new electrified pickups.
