Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson today announced that the team has selected forward Anton Frondell with the third overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft. The Blackhawks have nine more selections in the 2025 NHL Draft, including one more first-round pick (No. 25).

Frondell may be a nondescript 6'1" in height, but when he's on the ice, he looks so much bigger. Some of that is attributable to his wide frame; 204 pounds is bulky for an 18-year-old at that height.

The Chicago Blackhawks drafted the top-ranked international player with the No. 3 pick in Friday’s NHL draft in 17-year-old Swedish forward Anton Frondell.
