The Orioles made MLB history in an 18-0 rout of the Rockies as Mullins hit his 100th HR and Rogers fired a dominant one-hit shutout.

Gunnar Henderson singled in Alex Jackson with the go-ahead run in the seventh inning and Charlie Morton matched his longest start of the season, helping the Baltimore Orioles to a 4-3 win over the Cleveland Guardians.

The future of the Orioles’ roster will be shaped in the next eight days. Selling at the trade deadline is all but a certainty for Baltimore (44-56) after stumbling over either side of the All-Star break with a 1-6 record in its past seven games.

The Guardians twice came back from a deficit to beat the Orioles, 10-5, on a night in which Cleveland collected 14 hits.

"Glimpses of the Orioles of 2023 and 2024 have been showing up more often lately," Rymer wrote. "They're 18-10 since May 24, mostly owing to a pitching staff that has stabilized with a 3.37 ERA.

The Orioles were center stage at the All-Star Game last season. This year produced a scene that featured decidedly less orange.
